This pump flow comparison chart was done with the three most common manufacturer dredge pumps on the market. All had 4HP Honda OHV motors with readings taken at 3600 RPM. A 2"-12 ½’ suction hose, with a lift of 1ft was used on all the pumps, with a length of 25’ of 1½" layflat hose going to the fire nozzle. One pump had a 1¼" exit which was pipe fitted up to 1½ to connect the layflat hose. All the rest of the pumps had 2" in, 1½" out.
